Operations · Data · AI for founder-led businesses

Your business works.
Too much of it works through you.

Big Levers helps founder-led businesses untangle their operations, giving the team more control and capacity and the founder more room for the work they actually want to do.

The glue person

Too much depends on the person holding everything together.

Usually it's the founder. Sometimes it's an ops lead or a VA whose job quietly kept expanding. They remember commitments, chase handoffs, translate between tools, answer the same questions and decide what matters next.

The business works. But when that person is busy, tired or out, it slows down.

Hiring an operations lead? Has growth outpaced your systems, or has AI spending left the work unchanged? These are good moments to rethink how the work moves.

Sound familiar?

  • Work moves when someone remembers to move it.
  • Numbers are copied between tools, arrive late, or mean different things to different people.
  • Requests and commitments disappear into messages and meetings.
  • New tools have become more places to check.
  • AI only helps when someone opens a chat and asks for every step.
  • A key person takes time off and the business slows down.
  • The founder spends more time coordinating the business than building it.

Our Model

The Big Levers Model™

Clear numbers, dependable workflows and useful technology give your team more control, more capacity and room to do work they enjoy.

01

Clarity

A trusted view of the business and a clear basis for focus. A few numbers everyone believes, and a shared answer to what matters now.

02

Systems

A dependable way for people and work to move. Every commitment gets a path, an owner and a definition of done.

03

Leverage

More useful work from the team's effort. AI and agents running behind the scenes, with clear jobs, on schedules and events.

Control

The team can see what's happening, knows who owns it, and directs the business with confidence.

Capacity

More work moves reliably, with less coordination and fewer demands on the glue person.

Velocity

The team identifies what matters, acts, learns and improves faster.

What we do

Five Levers

  1. 01

    Data and analytics

A weekly scorecard with clear KPI definitions, sources, targets and owners. A source of truth the whole team trusts.

  2. 02

    AI, digital and technology

Easy wins first, then reusable assets: integrations, shared skills and agents with a defined job that keep producing useful work. Depending on the audit: an updated weekly scorecard, meeting actions assigned to owners, or client onboarding with missing inputs flagged.

  3. 03

    Systems and operations

Pipelines with stages, owners and handoffs. A small, visible queue of work and a weekly rhythm to keep it moving.

  4. 04

    Model and strategy

Decide what to pursue, what to decline and which bottleneck to address first. Separate ongoing work from new ideas you're testing.

  5. 05

    Security, controls and cost

Access, approval boundaries, failure handling and monthly cost visibility built into every system and agent.

How It Works

Implementation

  1. Days 1–14

    Audit and easy wins

Access, interviews, baseline measures. First easy wins go live.

  2. Days 15–21

    Design

Yes and no list, workflows, owners, dashboards and technology.

  3. Days 22–28

    Review

Agreed system design, scope and completion criteria.

  4. Days 29–45

    Build and test

Connected data, working pipelines and selected AI capabilities.

  5. Days 46–60

    Train and deploy

Live systems, trained owners and a clear review rhythm.

What we believe

AI is a lever. People still decide where to pull.

Clarity creates focus.

A few trusted numbers and a clear view of the work help the team choose where to put its attention.

People handle the exceptions.

Each automated workflow has a clear stopping point and someone responsible when it needs attention.

AI works best inside useful systems.

With the right context and a clear job. You experience the deliverables, not the prompting.

People need a system they can run.

Training and adoption are part of implementation, not an afterthought.

Focus protects progress.

Commitments and experiments get different expectations, with explicit limits on active work.

Value continues after deployment.

We measure completion, quality, effort and cost, then improve what the evidence supports.

Who you'll work with

Hi, I'm Anthony Xiques.

I work where business decisions meet the data, workflows and technology needed to carry them out. My background spans computer science, a master's in cybersecurity, and years of product and technical leadership across SaaS.

I've built and exited SaaS products, led technology at PE-backed and funded companies, and co-founded Dash, a weekly scorecard product. Big Levers is boutique on purpose: you work with me directly, from the first call to the last handoff.
